About us and how to join

Our Scout Group holds its Charter from Scouts Canada. We have been sponsored by the1st United Church in the City of White Rock, British Columbia for over 48 years. It is not necessary to be a member of the 1st United congregation in order to join us.

2nd Leduc Core Program Fees:

2015-2016 Youth Registration Fees:

• $195 each The youth participant fee for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers

• $175 each Groups who register by June 30 can receive a $20 discount per participant

• $155 each Youth half-year registrations, received from January 1 onwards

All fees are due at the time registration forms are submitted. Forms will not be accepted without full payment. If a fee deadline passes between when a form is signed/submitted and when payment is received, the highest fee will apply.

YOUTH REGISTRATION

Online registration is available for this Scouting year (September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016). Simply go to www.myscouts.ca and use the “Online Self-Registration” tab.

Once you have created an account, follow the steps and complete the registration. Make sure that you sign up in the correct Section:

Beaver Scouts (5-7 year old boys and girls): We regret that both of our Beaver Colonies are full to their available capacity. We will be able to add capacity once more adult Volunteers step forward.

Meetings are from 6:00–7:00 pm and are offered either on:

Tuesday – A Colony, based out of First United Church; or

Thursday – B Colony, based out of Star of the Sea Hall.

Cub Scouts (8-10 year old boys and girls): Meetings are offered either on:

Tuesday – A Pack, based out of First United Church from 7:15–8:45 pm ; or

Thursday – B Pack, based out of Star of the Sea Hall from 7:00–8:30 pm. We regret that Pack B is full to their available capacity.

Scouts (11-14 year old boys and girls): Meetings are from 7:00–9:00 pm on Thursdays with either:

A Troop, based out of First United Church; or

B Troop, based out of Star of the Sea Hall.

Venturer Scouts (15-17 year old boys and girls): Business meetings are the first Monday of the month from 6:30-8:30 pm at 14999-35th Avenue, Surrey.

Rover Scouts (18-26 year old men and women): Business meetings are the first Monday of the month from 6:30-8:30 pm at 14999-35th Avenue, Surrey.

ENSURE THAT YOU REVIEW ALL DETAIL INFORMATION AS THIS IS WHEN IT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED.

Payment will be via either Visa or Mastercard for online registrations. Ensure that you print your receipt at the end, as this is what you will use for your Fitness Tax Credit receipt for the Canada Revenue Agency. Annual registration fees are $215 for each youth.

ADULT REGISTRATION

Scouts Canada has changed to an automatic membership renewal process for returning Scouters – you will considered to be returning unless you inform us that you are not.
