OUR Events

Fall Start up

We love to meet our Scout families at the start of the year -  We meet at Churchill and have a Hotdog roast and participate in some fun Activites

Remembrance Day

The Legion invites us to participate in the Remembrance Day ceremy at the Bold Center, followed by a lunch 

Tree Festival

Our Scouts love to participate in the the Community Tree Festival. The Beavers and Cubs serve Tea and goodies to the Seniors, the Scouts run the Coat Check and the Ventures help with setting up and taking down the tables.  

Oilking Sleepover

We enjoy an All Section event in January, in the city. We do a sleep over and an Oilkings hockey game, after an afternoon doing a fun activity such as visiting the Telus Space Science center or fun at the Pool.

Christmas Party

After a few months of starting our Scout Groups, we meet for a fun filled Christmas party. We have yummy snacks, do fun activities, and someone Special comes for photos. 

Founders Day Torch Light Parade

February 22 is a special day for all Scout and Guide groups. We celebrate our Founders (Lord and Lady Baden Powel)'s shared birthday. We have a torch light parade, followed by an indoor campfire. 

Spring Bottle / Food Bank Drive

IAll aged group Scouts went door to door to collect bottles for our programming, along with donations for the food bank. It was a chilly day - but was very successful!

Earth Day Spring

Camp

A great weekend to have fun outdoors with all groups of Scouts. Activities included making Solar box ovens, Bare Aware presentation and of course outdoor cooking, campfire and hikes.
